Admissions Policies
Students who apply for the Doctor of Christian Counseling program must hold Master of Theology
or Master of Christian Counseling degree or its academic equivalent.
They must have two years course work and submit the professional dissertation about the Christian counseling.
Application
FCUTS’s academic programs are open to students of all Christian denominations who meet the standard requirements for admissions. FCUTS admits only qualified students who are committed to Jesus Christ. However, FCUTS does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admission policies, scholarships, or any other programs or activities.
The following documents must be included in the application process.
Admission requirements
(1) The application form and a non-refundable application fee ($100.00);
(2) Testimony; one page
(3) One reference; professor
(4) Statement of last three years of activities experience relating to the Christian counseling.
(5) Future project of the Christian counseling.
(6) Official transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions attended;
(7) Two recent photographs (passport style); and
(8) An earned Master of Divinity or Theology degree or the equivalent with at least a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) from an accredited institution.
The application form and other materials can be obtained from the admissions office.
They may be requested by phone, mail, or downloaded via the internet.
The deadline to apply for the Spring semester is the last Friday of December, and for the Fall semester it is the last Friday of May.
Requirement for graduation
(1) 32 credits course work
(2) Language exams (one of English, Spanish, German)
(3) Oral exam
(4) Professional dissertation: minimum 150 pages
