- Religion Programs

MASTER of DIVINITY (M.Div.)
This course of study is designed for the student who aspires to be equipped for the pastoral ministry. It focuses on the necessary areas of ministry which include: practical theology, ministerial duties, practicum’s of pastoral care and counseling. The Master of Divinity degree is a 90 credit hour program above the undergraduate program (120 hours) in biblical, theological or ministerial disciplines.

DOCTOR of MINISTRY (D.Min.)
This highly specialized program is designed for qualified individuals currently involved in a pastoral care and/or other related ministry. The program will build on ministry experience while challenging the Doctor of Ministry degree is a 45 credit hour program above the Master level.

DOCTOR of CHRISTIAN COUNSELING (D.C.C.)
This highly specialized program is designed for those in ministry who are deeply involved in meeting the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of people. The Doctor of Christian Counseling degree is a 48 credit hour program above the Master level. It is also affiliated with the N.C.C.A. and will qualify the candidate to become a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor/Advance Certification (L.C.P.C./A.C.).

- Theology Programs

The program requires four academic years or eight semesters, includes liberal arts courses, and is designed to equip students for effective communication of the Gospel. The goal of the program is to help students attain a fundamental grounding in Biblical Studies and Theology, including an introduction to the theory and practice of ministry(worship, Christian education, preaching) , Church History, missiology, the Old and New Testaments, and Christian theology.

The Master of Theology degree is a two-year graduate theological program covering a range of biblical theology. The Th.M. program provides a strong biblical foundation for Christians living out their faith in any setting. This program concentrates on the studies of the Bible and will help students have the right theology, faith, and biblical world view.

This program is designed primarily for devoted lay people who desire training to serve as a Bible teaching leader. They will be able to cultivate their personal calling from God in order to serve their church or para-church organization with the word of God.

This program is also recommended for pastors and missionaries (along with their spouses) who are already working in the field. They will be able to redefine the theological knowledge acquired before and systematize the contents of the Bible in new viewpoints.

The degree program requires 48 semester credits. As many as 24 semester credits of graduate work may be transferred from another institution.

The goal of the Th.M. program is to prepare individuals for being a ‘committed Bible teacher’ who can handle accurately the word of truth (2Tim 2:15).

DOCTOR of THEOLOGY (Th.D.)
This highly specialized program is designed to reflect the candidate’s rich ministry background and challenge the candidate to research and investigate a theological subject demonstrating his competence in a specific field of endeavor. The Doctor of Theology degree is a 48 credit hour program above the Master level.

- Philosophy Programs

DOCTOR of PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D.)
This professional program is offered in two disciplines: Christian counseling and theology only. It is built upon the Master’s degree from the respective discipline to develop the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of the advanced principles of these areas through intense clinical study and observation. The Ph.D. program in both disciplines is a 60 credit hour program. Former Faith Christian University ＆ Theological Seminary Th.D. and D.C.C. graduates have an option to complete an additional program to achieve this earned degree.
